... your play time is expired! WTF damn -.- ... they capped the play time for the chinese free to play servers. Can’t play any more my Mage and my Warrior. It seems like I have some free play time left for my Priest but i guess not so much =/ I would try a Scout/Rogue too, I will check what will be with a new account :P

Well, after 3-4 weeks AION I could test it a lot and Im impressed! I could play a Mage and more or less a Warrior and a Priest and I had fun with all three classes.

The Mage is more as an dmg dealer. Of course you have a high dmg output and a funny def ^^ but you has some stun and slow skills, thats makes a solo play easy. I like the mage realy and I will play as Mage at the Europe release ( can’t wait till 4th quarter 2009 ... grrrrr ) Ones you should know, if you want to play a mage you should be good with your fingers on your keyboard or you should use a speedpad like me =) else it will be hard to control all your skills ^^




The Priest is a typical supporter class. It was hard to play him solo. Some quests was to difficult to finish it directly, I had to wait for 1-2 level ups. But I had fun too with my Priest =) the def is like the Mage def but the priest has much less dmg output as a Mage but with close range weapon and skills ability. I could play my priest only up to level 10 and choosed a cleric as specialization, maybe a chanter is solo better to play. But I would say, if you choose a Priest you should have fun as supporter only.




The Warrior is sometimes a bit rough to play. Mostly after you use a skill he is staying stupid around and the mob is still beating you ^^ I spam the button for the normal attack and nothing .... and oh now he is attacking again ^^ zzz ... skills are carry out immediately. So if you get more attack skills you dont need any more the normal attack, but a auto attack option would be fine =)
After level 10 I choosed a Gladiator as the specialization and taked a 2 hand sword but i think the Ax is the better weapon. The Ax is a bit slower ( sword = 2.4 | ax = 2.8 attack speed) but makes some more dmg and the attack speed difference are not so much. Additional it seems like the sword’s weight is 10 tons or more. My Warrior Girl had a lot probs to move this sword ^^ well it looks like that =)
At start the Warrior isnt so easy to play but it goes better and better so higher your level will be. You will get a lot of passive skills which improve your Warrior. Additional if you reach level 10 you can use plate armor and it helps a lot =)





Finaly I would say all classes are good to play and they are good balanced, it is only a question of your taste =)

... yeah I got my wings! The idea with this wings is better as every mount system! I have so much fun! I can fly and attack mobs at same time :P GREAT!

and I’m realy, realy impressed! They using the CryEngine for that game and it looks awesome. I will need more time to say any about the game mechanics, but it seems to be good too.
